So different to an Indian Curry. Much more flavour and so easy to cook.

This is really, really nice. I thoroughly enjoyed it, plus it made heaps. I tempered the spices in ghee rather than oil (I love ghee). Really good!

I was fortunately enough to be gifted 2 dinner kits for my birthday. I was sceptical that everything looked so easy to follow but i was surprised by how quickly it came together. This potatoe kit is so versatile and i added chickpeas and some fresh baby spinach in as well. I’ve purchased more kits to try and everyone in the family is so happy to try them all. Thanks for making dinner easy and delicious.

These are very mild and very flavoursome!! I've never tried pandan leaf before so that was very interesting. The instructions are thorough. I will be purchasing again.

I have struggled to find convenient ways to re create our family recipes, especially when I’m time poor. Unfortunately with most srilankan takeaway its quick but too hot for the children. I stumbled across gedera and co and thought i would give it a try.
Was an absolute hit in our home and way less time than the traditional meal would take. The curry has traditional flavours and it will be a regular in our home on week nights.

I’m 75 years old and have spent my life around good food — first training as a chef with Qantas, and later travelling through India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Vietnam. Even after moving into another career, my love of cooking never left me, and I’ve always prided myself on knowing how to use ingredients to create rich, authentic flavours for family and friends.

Recently I tried Gedera’s Sri Lankan Chicken Curry recipe packs after seeing them online, and I was absolutely delighted. The pack was incredibly easy to use, and the finished curry was one of the best I’ve ever made — full of depth, fragrance and proper Sri Lankan character. Making this curry using the Gedera (Home in Sinhala) was a breeze!! I regretted not learning from my mum how to cook Sri Lankan meals, as a male growing up, cooking was never important as Mum or our help folks did the cooking. Having migrated and marrying a non Sri Lankan Gedera kits are EXACTLY what folks like me were looking for ! The process is easy all the instructions are clear and easy to follow!
